Here is a short guide on how to use the language change dropdown in WeWeb.

First, find the dropdown in the toolkit and drag & drop it anywhere.

The dropdown is automatically composed of the languages available on your page and not those of your site. So, you will have to pay attention to the languages of your pages.

As you can see on these pictures, on my site I have English, French, Italian and Arabic available, but only English, French and Italian are activated on my page, so only this one will be visible in the language dropdown.

You can use the dropdown in the editor to view the different versions of your page.

Now we will see how to edit it.

Switch to edit mode and select it. Click on "Text" to access the item's parents. You will then see "Language dropdown" and click on "Edit Language dropdown" to access the options.

Here are the available options:

Enable or disable the edit mode of the element (to keep the dropdown always open)

Display a layout on the left of the dropdown languages in which you can put whatever you want (flags for example). The elements you put in the layout will be editable in the same way as any other element in WeWeb, with the right editing bar.

Choose the background color as well as the mouse-over color (These options are especially useful when you decide to display the layout on the left of the language)
